The Breathing Room offers a range of classes over a wide schedule in order for you to find one that suits you best. Sign up and purchase a pack that suits you the best. All pack purchases should be made in the studio or via bank transfer.

Our Classes

Ashtanga is a specific sequence of poses linking breath and movement. It is a practice combining strength, flexibility, and stamina and may involve hands-on adjustments and guidance from the teacher. It is open to all levels of practitioners.

HIIT Pilates is a training system that combines pilates principles with high intensity interval training. It is a full-body low impact workout designed to strengthen muscles, increase flexibility, and improve overall health.

A flowing yoga class open to all levels that combines breath and movement into a dynamic sequence of poses. This class is set to music and will tone your body and clear your mind. It is an experience that strengthens, stretches and revitalises your whole being and leaves you with a sense of accomplishment. Expect to move, breathe, sweat and be energised!

Yoga Nidra, Meditation, Breathwork is a relaxation practice that involves lying down in a comfortable position and being guided through a series of verbal instructions and breathwork to induce a deep state of relaxation while remaining conscious and aware. The practice aims to release tension and stress and can be done by anyone (no need for yoga experience). It is a state of relaxation that is deeper than simply closing your eyes or resting, but less than actual sleep.

Overall, this class can be an excellent way to reduce stress and anxiety, improve sleep quality, promote relaxation, and improve overall well-being.

This session is thoughtfully designed to cater to all levels of yogis, whether you’re new to yoga or an experienced practitioner. Throughout the class, you’ll engage in deep, prolonged stretches, focusing on key muscle groups like the hips, hamstrings, and shoulders. Incorporating asanas with the use of the wall or props for support.  As we slow down the pace, hold poses for longer and simplify.  This class invites you to savor each movement and forge a meaningful connection with your body as you open up and release tension throughout the entire system.  LSD welcomes all levels.

Our Foundations Flow class offers a slower pace perfect for those new to yoga, injured, those seeking a more personalized practice approach or those who want to refine their practice.


You’ll receive detailed guidance ensuring a solid understanding of foundational poses. Embrace the use of props, wall support, and modifications as needed to adapt the practice to your individual needs and to teach you to confidently transition to other yoga classes.

Whether you’re recovering from an injury, exploring yoga for the first time, or seeking to refine your practice, this class provides the tools and confidence to make yoga truly your own.

 

Barre is a form of hybrid workout that combines the elements of yoga, pilates, ballet, and strength training. It involves rigorous repetitions and pulsing, improving your endurance all throughout your sessions.

This fun class will build strength and coordination. Discover basic spins, transitions, and poses while building strength, flexibility, and body awareness. No prior experience is required. Kindly bring your own mat and water and wear short shorts, a sports bra or a tank top. Please refrain from applying lotion or any body oils on the day of your pole class.

Vinyasa is all about learning to connect your breath with the whole body. You’ll follow the rhythm of your breath as you transition fluidly from pose to pose, with some opportunities to truly land and explore each posture. With consistency, this practice will develop deep focus and strength.

It is a holistic approach to sequencing vinyasa yoga with the primary focus of restoring healthy natural alignment through exercising fascial properties and adapting postures to balance myofascial meridians (tension lines of muscles and fascia.) Every class focuses on these fascial properties. 
Elasticity: Bouncing increases mobility, fascial glide, and proprioception. 
Slow viscoelasticity: We increase fascial glide and creep through repetitive oscillating movement. 
Fast viscoelasticity: We use gentle impact movements to strengthen the joints and increase joint health. 
 
 
Plasticity: Longer holds, generally 30 seconds to one minute, to increase flexibility. 
Transmission of force: We increase tension along different myofascial lines by “tuning” postures to maximize the pose’s potential within the focused myofascial meridian. 
To develop kinetic freedom, we combine exercising these fascial properties with spatial awareness, balance, strength, and mobility training.
